The State of Connecticut, Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) is recruiting for one (1) full-time Lead Custodian position at Norwich Technical High School in Norwich, CT. The incumbent would work in a high school environment and act as a working supervisor for a crew of Custodians engaged in the cleaning of Bullard-Havens Technical High School.

- Full-time | 2nd Shift | 37.5 hours per week
- Monday – Friday | 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm

In your role as a Lead Custodian, you will have the opportunity to:
- Plan crew workflow and determine priorities
- Schedule, assign, oversee and review work
- Establish and maintain crew procedures
- Provide staff training and assistance
- Conduct or assist in conducting performance evaluations
- Act as liaison with operating units, agencies and outside officials regarding unit policies and procedures
- Perform a full range of duties as outlined in the Custodian class specification
- Perform related duties as required

CTECS operates 17 diploma-granting technical high schools, one technical education center and two airframe mechanics and aircraft maintenance programs.
