Maintenance Technician
Job Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for general building repairs and maintenance, repairing warehouse equipment and completing handyman work as needed both inside the Distribution Center and around the property.
Responsibilities- General building maintenance including carpentry, painting and electrical repairs.
- Landscaping including lawn care and snow removal around the building property.
- Concrete and floor repairs.
- Maintain accurate records (Service Channel) of all maintenance tasks performed as instructed.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner and maintain a watchful eye for unsafe practices and situations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to communicate proactively and effectively, including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
- General building maintenance skills: carpentry, painting, and electrical repairs.
- Ability to safely and effectively utilize basic hand tools such as saws and drills.
- Knowledge of forklift or other industrial equipment repair and operation.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining and managing work orders, email, etc.

Minimum Qualifications- Previous facilities repair and maintenance experience.
- Ability to operate and knowledge of forklift or industrial equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to communicate proactively and effectively, as described above.
- Skilled in multitasking and managing competing priorities.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Ability to safely and effectively utilize general hand tools such as saws and drills.
- Use of a computer for email and to manage Service Channel work orders.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, and handle items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Move objects up to 250 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Stand and walk continuously to perform job functions.
- Starting hourly pay: $19.00 - $22.00/hour (Based on experience).
