Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Manufacturing Electrical Technician (Non-Licensed)

Are you the person everyone calls when a machine goes down? Do you enjoy troubleshooting, working with your hands, and finding solutions that keep operations moving? We're looking for a Manufacturing Electrical Technician to join our team and help maintain the equipment and systems that drive our production success.
In this hands-on role, you'll troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and industrial electrical systems. Maintain motors, sensors, relays, control panels, drives, and production machinery. Perform preventive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings. Support PLC-controlled and automated equipment. Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and process improvements. Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout practices.
Partner with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to keep operations running efficiently.
What we're looking for:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical training in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or electrical technician experience
- Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical equipment
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Working knowledge of motors, sensors, relays, VFDs, and control systems
- Basic PLC troubleshooting skills are a plus
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a safety-first mindset
Job type & location:
This is a contract to hire position based out of Norwich, CT.
Pay and benefits:
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $40.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
