Four Points by Sheraton seeks a Facilities Engineer to keep our hotel's building systems running safely, efficiently, and reliably. In this hands-on role, you will maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and respond quickly to guest and staff requests. You'll monitor life-safety and building management systems, coordinate vendors, and ensure compliance with codes and Marriott standards.
Working closely with hotel teams, you'll help deliver comfortable, uncomplicated stays in a supportive, service-focused environment with growth opportunities across the Marriott portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair hotel HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure guest comfort and safety.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections in line with Marriott and brand standards.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, troubleshooting issues with minimal disruption.
- Monitor building management systems, life-safety, and fire protection systems; escalate issues as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and capital projects.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and Marriott engineering standards.
- Support energy-efficiency initiatives and recommend improvements to building performance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records in CMMS or similar systems.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, front office, and operations teams to prioritize work and support guest satisfaction.
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response for critical building issues.
