Technician III, Utilities Maintenance

The Role:

The Technician III, Facilities Management plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the maintenance and operation of utility systems within a facility. They are responsible for supporting a team of technicians and ensuring the efficient and reliable functioning of utility equipment. The senior technician must possess extensive knowledge and experience in utility systems, along with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

• Conduct regular inspections of utility systems to identify potential issues and develop preventive maintenance plans.
• Troubleshoot complex problems with utility systems and equipment, and provide technical expertise to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with other departments and external vendors to schedule repairs, maintenance, and equipment upgrades.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to optimize the performance and lifespan of utility systems.
• Monitor utility systems and equipment performance, analyzing data and making recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory.
• Train and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance on best practices, safety protocols, and technical skills.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in utility systems, and implement relevant changes as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
• Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.

• Education:
  
  AS degree or certificate in a science/technical field or a technical trade school
• Experience:
  
  5-7 years’ of experience

The salary range for this role is $63,200.00 - $. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An individual’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, other incentive compensation, or equity award, subject to company plan eligibility criteria and individual performance.
