ResponsibilitiesHow you'll make an impact in this role
- Demonstrates commitment to organizational values by actively supporting quality improvement and safety programs.
- Installs, repairs, and maintains a wide range of complex machinery, equipment, and facility systems (e.g., boilers, generators, pumps, medical equipment).
- Conducts inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates within normal parameters.
- Performs routine and emergency repairs across electrical, plumbing, and general facility needs using appropriate tools.
- Supports overall facility operations through additional tasks such as assisting trades staff, equipment setup, minor building repairs, and general upkeep.
What minimum requirements you'll need
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
-required.
License/Certification:
- Valid Michigan Driver's License
-required. - On-the-job training in electromechanical repair and maintenance and plant operations, preferably in a healthcare facility environment required.
Experience:
- Four years related experience preferably in a healthcare facility environment
-required.
