Stathakis is seeking a dependable Janitorial Crew Leader for a part-time, on-site position in Novi, MI. This role is ideal for someone who values cleanliness, consistency, safety, and teamwork, and who takes pride in leading efforts to maintain a clean, organized, and production-ready environment. The position is Monday-Friday from 6:00 pm - 10:00pm. The pay rate for this position is $16.50 per hour.

The Janitorial crew lead oversees all cleaning and sanitation operations within a manufacturing plant. This role ensures the facility maintains cleanliness, safety, and production-support standards in a fast-paced, high-volume industrial environment. The position leads a team of janitorial staff, coordinates daily operations, and ensures compliance with OSHA requirements and industry expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and lead janitorial staff
• Ensure cleanliness of production floors, restrooms, locker rooms, and office spaces
• Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and quality expectations
• Manage inventory of cleaning chemicals, PPE, and equipment; ensure proper storage and usage per SDS guidelines
• Maintain documentation for inspections, incident reports, staff attendance, and supply usage
• Collaborate with Ops Manager and safety teams to support operational efficiency and workplace safety

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a lead role preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard communication, and safe chemical handling
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
