Childs Tire is looking for a hardworking individual who can help service and repair our vast network of consumer and fleet vehicles. We are founded on the principles of "Pit Stop Like Service," dating back to the 1980's, when the Childs brothers were pit crew‑members of Hall of Fame NASCAR driver Rusty Wallace.

• Conduct flat tire repair, mounting, and balancing
• Perform rotate and balance, diagnose tire wear and necessary procedures
• Assist fellow technicians / mechanics in performing various technical activities
• Industrial and commercial tire changes (19.5 and larger experience/Lawn and garden/skid steer/small tractor knowledge)
• Maintain an organized and tidy bay
• Adhere to all company policy, procedure, safety and environmental rules and regulations
• Document all work performed and recommended on assigned repair order
• Conduct road test to determine work needed and to confirm work was successfully completed when necessary and practical
• Basic automotive skills and general mechanical knowledge

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver license, with a clean driving history
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment
• Strong communication

• After 90 days of employment: health, dental and vision
• After 1 year of employment: paid vacation, sick time and IRA

Full-time or Part Time (am shifts available)

• Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 5:30 pm
• CLOSED WEEKENDS
