QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSThe Warehouse Technician employee shall demonstrate an aptitude for the successful performance of the tasks listed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES- Receive, count, stock, store, and rotate all materials, supplies, and food.
- Turn in the invoice or bill of lading to the department office.
- Report expired, damaged and loss inventory to the coordinating department.
- Receive, process, and fill orders for kitchens and custodial supplies.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
- Conduct regular counting cycles and verification of stocked goods with appropriate inventory lists.
- Ensure that the quality of supplies and goods are compliant with the district standards.
- Manage all safety regulations while carrying out work functions.

- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation standards of the district for the storage of food.
Ability to maintain confidentiality; communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing these duties, the employee is regularly required to reach, climb, bend, stand, and walk. The employee continuously uses hand strength to grasp and use tools and climb ladders, as well as to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk and hear. The employee must normally lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift, move, push, or pull up to 100 pounds.
ENVIRONMENTALCONDITIONS
The employee will occasionally work in conditions of extreme heat or cold. This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENTEmployment will be on an at-will basis for 12 months with two weeks vacation, beginning July 1, or from the time of employment for the duration of the school year with prorated vacation and/or personal leave. Each maintenance employee will be provided a work calendar showing the specific daily work schedule of the employee. The work calendar may be modified by the Board of Education at any time, as needs dictate.
Eight and one-half hours (including a 30 minute non-paid lunch period) will constitute a workday. The Chief Human Resources Officer will establish a definite daily schedule. The yearly salary will be disbursed in twenty-four (24) equal payments.
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of support staff personnel.
