Booth Manor is a residence built by The Salvation Army for older adults, eligible for subsidized housing under United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidelines.

- Respond promptly to and satisfactorily resolve maintenance‑related issues across Booth Manor I & II and the Oak Creek Church & Community Center.
- Prioritize Booth Manor tenant service requests, apartment turnover, inspections, and day‑to‑day facility upkeep as the primary responsibility of the role.
- Support the Church & Community Center by addressing maintenance concerns, coordinating routine repairs, and overseeing campus‑wide projects or vendor services as directed.
- Oversee and coordinate outside vendors, inspectors, and contractors for specialized work, ensuring quality and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain service records, schedules, and preventative maintenance plans for equipment across the campus.
- Keep accurate documentation of repairs, inspections, and replacements in tenant apartments, public spaces, and campus facilities.
- Maintain inventory of parts, supplies, and tools; place orders as needed to support efficient operations.
- Conduct move‑in, move‑out, and annual inspections for Booth Manor apartments and ensure vacant units are prepared for occupancy within required time frames.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of garages, mechanical rooms, storage areas, and other designated work spaces.
- Ensure safe and well‑kept outdoor areas throughout the Oak Creek campus, including walkways, parking lots, and landscaped areas; coordinate contracted lawn care and snow removal services, and perform light groundskeeping as needed.
- Collaborate with pest control agencies to address issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with HUD, TSA, and applicable local, state, and federal inspection requirements.
- Provide after‑hours on‑call responses to tenant or building emergencies.
- Operate TSA vehicles to pick up or deliver materials as needed.
- Assist the Property Manager and Corps Officers in identifying, assessing, and addressing potential safety risks across the entire campus.
- Perform additional maintenance and facility‑related responsibilities as assigned by the Property Manager or Corps Officers.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
One year of experience in apartment maintenance or a related field preferred.
Certifications:
Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with approval to drive from Salvation Army insurance.
