Maintenance Team Lead – Daytime Shift (12-Hour Continental)
Location: Oak Creek, WI
Salary: $40–$42/hour (plus overtime opportunities)
Schedule: Full-Time | Continental PM shifts |
6:00AM – 6:00PM (12-hours) | Every second weekend off.

Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Team Lead to support operations in a high-speed manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians while actively participating in troubleshooting and maintaining equipment performance.
This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced production environments and enjoy balancing technical expertise with team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support a team of 12–15 maintenance technicians
- Perform and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Troubleshoot and repair:
- Mechanical systems
- Electrical systems
- Automated production equipment
Support maintenance of:
- High-speed packaging lines
- Robotic systems (FANUC, KUKA, ABB, or similar)
Drive maintenance excellence through:
- TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
- RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance)
Monitor and report maintenance KPIs, including:
- MTTR (Mean Time to Repair)
- MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)
- Coordinate with OEM vendors for advanced troubleshooting support
Ensure compliance with:
- OSHA safety standards
- Food safety regulations (SQF, GMP)
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and zero-loss mindset
- Train and mentor technicians to improve team capabilities
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- 2+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of:
- Electrical and mechanical systems
- Automation and production equipment
- Experience with robotics systems (FANUC, KUKA, ABB, or similar) preferred
Familiarity with maintenance methodologies:
- TPM, RCM, RCFA, PMO
- Experience using CMMS/EAM systems
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- 12-hour continental shift (2-2-3)
- Rotating schedule including every other weekend
- High-speed food manufacturing environment
- Exposure to automated production and packaging equipment
- Physically active role requiring time standing, walking, and responding to equipment needs
- $40 - $42 /hour base pay
- Overtime opportunities available
- Annual earnings typically range from ~$83K–$87K+ depending on schedule and OT
