Plant Maintenance Technician

Thrive Foods, a division of Thrive Market, is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to support our retail-focused food production facility. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging and processing equipment, conveyors, forklifts, and building systems to keep operations running safely and efficiently. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, coordinate repairs with vendors, and document all work in a CMMS.

You'll partner closely with operations to minimize downtime, follow safety and food-safety standards, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in a mission-driven, sustainability-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant production and packaging equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to reduce downtime
• Maintain, repair, and inspect conveyors, forklifts, utilities, and building systems
• Document maintenance work orders and parts usage in a CMMS system
• Collaborate with operations to plan maintenance around production schedules
• Ensure compliance with safety, food-safety, and regulatory standards
• Support installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment
• Identify and recommend improvements to equipment reliability and plant efficiency
