KeyQualifications and Desired Experience
- Licensed or certified as a school psychologist
- Previous experience in elementary school settings (grades 1-5 preferred)
- Strong background in conducting comprehensive student evaluations and re-evaluations
- Skilled at administering assessments, interpreting results, and writing detailed psychological reports
- Confident and prepared to lead initial and re-evaluation meetings with school teams and families
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Conduct thorough initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students in need of services
- Lead meetings by sharing findings, collaborating with staff, and helping guide educational planning
- Administer cognitive, academic, and social-emotional assessments and synthesize findings
- Prepare clear, actionable reports and provide recommendations for interventions or supports
- Serve as a resource for teachers and parents, offering expert insight on student development and needs
