Benefits are in accordance with agreement between Forest Ridge School District 142 and FREA Union.

• 0-9 Years of Service: 13 days
• 10-15 Years of Service: 14 days
• 16-20 Years of Service: 15 days
• 21+ Years of Service: 16 days

Accumulation of Sick Leave Days:
Unlimited

Unused Personal Business Leave Days will be added to accumulated Sick Leave Days.)

Any premium increases or decreases shall be split 70 percent to the Board and 30 percent to the employee.

Employees who elect not to participate in the health insurance plan extended by the Board of Education will receive up to $1,300.00 per year.

Teachers may elect to participate in the District's group dental insurance plan as it may exist from time-to-time. Any such participation shall be only as permitted by the District's insurance carrier and in accord with the carrier's requirement. The employee will pay 100% of the premium rate.

The employee will pay 100% of the cost of monthly premiums for vision insurance for employees.

For full-time certified teachers the Board will provide a $20,000.00 term life insurance policy pursuant to the District life insurance program.
