This full-year assignment runs from July 29 to May 25, working weekdays from 8:05am to 3:35pm. You'll interact with students from early childhood through 3rd grade, supporting a variety of learners both in mainstream settings and specialized DHH classrooms.
Qualifications & Requirements- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in school settings preferred
- Ability to work with EC-3rd grade students
- Familiarity working with mainstream and DHH students
- Collaborative and adaptable communication skills
- Interpret classroom instruction and communication between students, teachers, and service providers
- Provide support in both mainstream and DHH settings throughout the school day
- Adjust interpreting techniques as needed to meet individual student needs
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
