ARBOR PARK SCHOOL DISTRICT 145 SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER Requirements
- Current Illinois PEL with School Social Worker endorsement
- Experience and knowledge of positive behavioral and instructional strategies.
- Strong understanding of functional behavior analysis and behavior support plans.
- Team experience including developing IEPs and 504s and coordinating services (including outside supports).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, parents and staff.
- Personal attributes of flexibility, motivation, cooperation and positive attitude.
- Knowledge of MTSS and problem-solving process.
- Experience and confidence with staff development to build internal capacity.
- Experience and comfort with technology.
Based on placement schedule per the negotiated certified staff contract.
TermPosition is full time, 7 hours/day, 180 days per school year
