• Prepare individual income tax returns, including all related schedules
• Prepare tax returns for various business entities
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Perform research, analysis, and interpretation of current tax laws
• Prepare written communication and respond to notices from tax authorities
• Resolve tax issues for clients such as garnishments, liens, and levies
• Provide advice on a wide range of topics related to decision making about costs, expenditures, and financial practices

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build new clientele and retain existing clientele
• Ability to work long hours when needed, especially during peak seasons
• Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• 2 years of accounting experience in public accounting
• Experience with preparation of financial and income statements and balance sheets
• Proficient with specialized tax software (preferred but not necessary)
• Accounting credentials or desire to pursue credentials preferred
• Working vehicle to be able to travel locally for business needs
