- Middle School Endorsement with relevant content endorsement(s).
- Proven ability to apply content knowledge and pedagogy, formative assessment, and technology integration at a high level
- Previous experience and skills as requested by building principal

Direct SupervisorBuilding Principal
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:- Demonstrate support for the Mission, Vision, and Goals of Oak Lawn-Hometown School District 123
- Uphold the established Board of Education policies, regulations, and administrative procedures
- Plan and implement appropriate instruction using methods and materials which are most appropriate for meeting district goals and objectives
- Evaluate students on a regular basis and provide reports as required
- Create a classroom and school environment that is conducive to learning and is age appropriate
- Communicate and collaborate with colleagues, students, parents, and the community as needed to meet professional standards and advance student learning
- Maintain and improve professional competence
- Participate in meetings and perform other responsibilities as assigned by the principal or designee in accordance with the Board of Education
- Ability to sit/stand for prolonged periods of time
- Apply student learning theory, brain-based learning, and differentiated instruction
- Utilize technology to promote learning, creativity, collaboration
- Regular attendance and/or physical presence at the job

Performance in this position will be evaluated by the Building Principal in accordance with the Board of Education’s policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
