Job Overview
Travel RN (OR – Operating Room) for a 13‑week assignment at a Magnet‑designated Level I Trauma Center in Oak Lawn, IL.

Nursing Administration (Administrative RN / Clinical Leadership) - Contract Type:
Travel Nurse – 13‑week assignment - Start Date:
May 11, 2026 - End Date:
August 8, 2026 - Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 8‑hour Night Shifts
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,620 – $2,760
- Weekend Rotation:
Every 4th weekend (Saturday–Sunday) - Holiday Coverage:
Required - On‑Call:
Dependent on shift/service line (30‑minute response time; sleeping room available) - Scrubs:
Provided - Parking:

- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
- Minimum 2–3 years of acute care experience; critical care/trauma at Level I or II preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
- Experience with OR scrub and circulate advantageous
- Strong clinical leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work night shift, weekends, holidays, and on‑call as required
- First‑time travel nurses welcome; travel nurse support provided
- Provide operational and clinical administrative support within the Nursing Administration unit
- Coordinate and oversee patient‑care activities to maintain high safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, resource nurses, and leadership
- Use EPIC EMR for accurate documentation, patient management, and care coordination
- Participate in trauma, transplant, and diverse surgical cases across pediatric and adult populations
- Support department operations, including orientation, training, and mentoring of new staff and travelers
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and Magnet‑quality standards
- Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations and fulfill on‑call responsibilities as assigned
