The Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN), a member of Advocate Health Nursing Professional Governance community, provides high‑quality, patient‑centered care through evidence‑based practice, clinical expertise, and compassionate care delivery in an ambulatory care setting. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, advocates for patient needs, and upholds professional practice standards to promote optimal health outcomes.

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred.
• Previous Neurology experience preferred

Hours:

Mon-Fri: 8a-5p, no weekends or holidays. Must travel between location when needed.

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Advocate Medical Group Pediatric Subspecialties provides comprehensive pediatric specialty care through multiple clinic locations serving children and families across the South Chicagoland area. Our network offers access to a wide range of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties, supporting patients from infancy through adolescence. Care is delivered by multidisciplinary teams who partner closely with primary care providers to ensure coordinated, family‑centered treatment.

Our clinics are closely connected with Advocate Children’s Hospital and the broader Advocate Health system, helping to promote seamless care across outpatient and hospital settings.
