Key responsibilities of the RN – OR include:

• Scrubbing and circulating in a variety of surgical cases
• Managing patient care before, during, and after surgery
• Collaborating with anesthesiology, surgeons, and OR support staff
• Assisting in the preparation and readiness of the operating room
• Following all protocols for patient and staff safety

Requirements of the RN – OR include:

• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2-3 years of acute care experience
• Experience with EPIC EMR system required
• Critical care and Level 1-2 trauma experience preferred
