General FunctionA sales position responsible for the acquisition, growth, and retention of bank customers, focusing on Preferred Program customers and mass affluent prospects. The role proactively contacts and services customers in sales and service of bank products, conducts needs-based assessments, and engages partners to fulfill client financial needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Execute retail strategies and tactics to increase Preferred Program households and provide excellent customer experience.
- Build deep relationships with customers to earn status as a trusted advisor via consultative sales and service processes.
- Simplify and communicate complex financial concepts.
- Participate in financial center huddles and meetings to support sales and motivation.
- Guide the Financial Center team in the referral/sales process with focus on Preferred customers.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the complete line of products and services.
- Consistently meet or exceed brokerage sales and referral goals set by management.
- Initiate and maintain customer and prospect contact through various methods, including financial center interaction, telemarketing, seminars, and community events.
- Keep current on industry and economic environment to anticipate customer needs.

Minimum Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a sales environment and financial industry.
- Consultative selling skills certification and completion of ongoing educational requirements.
- Series 6, 63 and insurance licenses required;
Series 65 must be obtained within 90 calendar days of hire. - Ability to build and maintain a revenue-producing book of business in the mass affluent segment.
- Professional image and communication skills; local travel required.
- SAFE Act registration at time of employment via NMLS.
Normal office environment with occasional local and overnight travel.
Compensation & BenefitsBase salary range: $54,400.00 – $ annual. Eligible for incentive compensation based on performance. Comprehensive benefits program supporting physical, financial, emotional and social well-being.
