Job Title: Harmony Director
Reports to: Director of Student Activities
Terms and Conditions: Part-time, 3-5 hours per week, during the school year.
FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary: Per Faculty Senate contract, level 4 stipend, 1.0 FTE - $6,250.75

Position SummaryHarmony is a choir that primarily sings traditional and contemporary gospel style songs that inspire and bring about positive energy. For the past 40 years, Harmony/Gospel Choir has been a big part of the school and community. Auditions are not required. Students who participate in Harmony will learn beginning, intermediate and/or advanced concepts including style, harmony and dissonance, vocal improvisation and microphone technique.
Interested students should have an interest in singing inspirational music and be able to work cooperatively with others. Students will participate in all school events such as the MLK assembly and other cultural events. Students may also be asked to participate in community events as needed.
There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.
