About the Role
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee all accounting, finance, audit, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and financial reporting functions. This individual will lead a lean accounting team while remaining heavily involved in day‑to‑day accounting and financial management activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash management
- Oversee annual audit process, internal controls, compliance, and financial governance
- Partner with executive leadership and Board members on financial strategy and planning
- Mentor and develop a small accounting team while remaining hands‑on operationally
- Drive process improvements and strengthen financial infrastructure across the organization
What We're Looking For
- Experienced nonprofit accounting or finance leader
- Prior CFO experience preferred; open to a strong Controller ready for a step up
- Heavy audit and compliance background required
