About the Role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee all accounting, finance, audit, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and financial reporting functions. This individual will lead a lean accounting team while remaining heavily involved in day‑to‑day accounting and financial management activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash management
  • Oversee annual audit process, internal controls, compliance, and financial governance
  • Partner with executive leadership and Board members on financial strategy and planning
  • Mentor and develop a small accounting team while remaining hands‑on operationally
  • Drive process improvements and strengthen financial infrastructure across the organization

What We're Looking For

  • Experienced nonprofit accounting or finance leader
  • Prior CFO experience preferred; open to a strong Controller ready for a step up
  • Heavy audit and compliance background required
