Key Responsibilities
- Provide on‑site and remote technical support for end users, resolving hardware, software, and system‑related issues.
- Manage and respond to support tickets, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with service‑level expectations.
- Troubleshoot and support desktop operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices including printers, scanners, and mobile equipment.
- Perform installation, configuration, and updates of hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Conduct site visits to complete hardware installations, system upgrades, and support activities.
- Document root causes, resolutions, and troubleshooting procedures in knowledge management systems.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets and device inventory.
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve complex issues and improve system performance.
- Provide feedback to technical teams to support system enhancements, stability, and reliability.
- Deliver guidance, training, and mentorship to less experienced team members as needed.
- Support high‑priority users and provide elevated support when required.
- Assist service‑desk teams to improve first‑call resolution and overall support efficiency.
- Participate in on‑call rotations and provide support outside standard hours as needed.
- Adhere to established processes, procedures, and service standards in a fast‑paced environment.
- Contribute to IT projects and initiatives to support operational improvements and business needs.
This is a contract position based out of Oak Park, IL.
Pay And BenefitsPay range: $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
