DescriptionAmbulatory Triage Nurse – Primary Care. Supports both Elmhurst and Oak Park locations. Full Time – Day shift. Registered Nurse, RN professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Loyola University Medical Center is located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago.

- Patient Care and Assessment:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms. Develop and implement individualized care plans. - Nurse Triage:
Perform initial triage to prioritize patient care by evaluating urgency and determining appropriate next steps for treatment or referral. - Care Coordination and Communication:
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and manage patient treatments and follow‑ups. - Patient Education and Support:
Provide education to patients and their families about managing health conditions, medication administration, and lifestyle changes. Offer emotional support and answer questions. - Administrative and Documentation Duties:
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records, including charting, documenting interactions, and managing appointment scheduling.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing – BSN or ADN
- BLS provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
- Current Registered Nurse License, State of Illinois
- 1‑2 years of previous experience in a clinical setting
Salary Range: $31.62 – 50.79 per hour
