• Safely operate a flatbed truck to transport goods to various destinations.
• Secure cargo using appropriate methods, such as chains, straps, or tarps.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.

• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• At least 1 year of experience specifically in flatbed driving.
• Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and ability to follow them diligently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on the road.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or routes.
• Coil experience is a plus.

Job Description

Intermodal CDL-A Driver opportunities with immediate openings and home daily options. Job specifications include hourly pay between $37 and $39, runs starting in Forest View, IL, and weekly pay with no holds. 6-week work schedule, 12-hour days. Full-time openings. Local route with no-touch freight, drop and hook.

Driver Route:
Local delivery in Forest View IL;
No-touch freight;
Drivers scan paperwork on their phone;
Manual & Automatic trucks.

Job Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license + Valid DOT Medcard
• Hazmat Endorsement preferred, but not required
• Intermodal Experience preferred, but not required
• Must be 21 years old
• Meets all FMCSA requirements
• No more than 2 incidents/accidents in the past 3 years (recordable or non-recordable)
• Minimum 12 months of verifiable experience in the past 3 years
• Manual transmission experience preferred (not required)
• Professional, reliable, and safety-focused
