Job Summary

Janitor – Full‑time, Day Shift – Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Compensation $19.03 per hour.

• Restroom cleaning – sanitize toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, walls, and doors; restock supplies; collect trash and replace liners; sweep and mop floor.
• Office cleaning – sweep, mop, vacuum per schedule; spot‑clean as needed.
• Halls, high‑traffic areas – sweep, mop, vacuum per schedule; spot‑clean as needed.
• Entrances and exits – sweep, mop, vacuum per schedule; empty trash receptacles desk‑side, lunchrooms, restrooms, common areas, and recycling.
• Dusting, cleaning surfaces, spot cleaning, glass cleaning, clean drinking fountains, break rooms, kitchenettes, appliance cleaning.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) months of janitorial experience preferred.

• Ability to lift/move up to 45 lbs.
• May require reaching, kneeling, walking, standing, repetitive motion for several hours.
• Can perform tasks with or without assistance; reasonable accommodation possible.
• Must persevere under pressure for extended periods.

• Valid state driver’s license; ability to obtain/maintain coverage under Tessera’s insurance.
• Real‑ driver’s license (or U.S. passport, military ) for federal installation access.
• Access to security clearances and installation; background check, E‑Verify, DOE pre‑employment drug screening.
• Compliance with federal guidelines.
