Overview

Funky Buddha Brewery in Oakland Park, Florida is seeking a full-time Custodian to join its team. The candidate will work in all areas of operations to maintain cleanliness and upkeep.

• Sweep and mop floors
• Clean building by emptying trash and cleaning surfaces
• Clean and disinfect all areas
• Use appropriate quantity of cleaning solution to remove stains and clean surfaces
• Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors
• Dust and clean furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• Wax and buff floors
• Clean floors using floor scrubber
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures

• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Completes all established duties in a timely manner
• Knows and adheres to health and sanitation guidelines and follows all safety policies
• Able to work days, nights and/or weekends
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
