Pay: $17.00 per hour
Join Our Environmental Services Team

Medical Hill Healthcare is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. Your work plays an essential role in supporting resident comfort, health, and overall quality of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, nursing stations, offices, and common areas.
  • Dust, mop, vacuum, sweep, and disinfect surfaces according to facility standards.
  • Empty trash and replace liners throughout the facility.
  • Replenish housekeeping and restroom supplies as needed.
Infection Prevention
  • Follow infection control procedures and proper cleaning techniques.
  • Safely handle and dispose of waste in accordance with facility policies.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and appropriately.
Resident Service
  • Respond promptly and courteously to resident and staff requests.
  • Help create a comfortable, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to the appropriate department.
Teamwork & Professionalism
  • Work collaboratively with nursing, laundry, maintenance, and other departments.
  • Follow daily cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold resident privacy at all times.
  • Adhere to all facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare, skilled nursing, hospitality, or similar setting is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing housekeeping equipment throughout the shift.
