Substitute Custodian/Maintenance Workers
Reports to:
District Coordinator of Facilities
Description:
The district is seeking substitute custodians/maintenance workers to step in on a temporary, as-needed basis. This position is paid hourly.
Responsibilities:
* Perform maintenance and custodial duties as required
* Clean all areas of school buildings according to district standards, including floors, windows, furniture, and restrooms
* Perform routine maintenance on equipment within and outside school buildings
* Deliver supplies and materials to appropriate areas of the building
* Complete grounds keeping duties as needed
Qualifications:
* Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
* Valid NJ criminal history check required
* Negative tuberculosis test
* Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
* School janitor/custodian experience preferred
Compensation:
* $24 per hour
