Overview
Two positions available - not to exceed 20 hours per week per person at current sub rate or appropriate OAPSE rate as defined in the OAPSE Negotiated Agreement, effective May 1 through August 28, 2026.

RESPONSIBLE TO
:
Superintendent
- Be at least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent diploma.
- Documentation of a clear criminal record.
- Grounds keeping and lawn maintenance equipment preferred.
- Self-directed and able to learn required skills for the position.
- Ability to read and comply with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Physical ability to perform all aspects of the responsibilities.
- Generally maintains school buildings and grounds, including keeping grounds free of debris and leaves, trimming shrubs and trees, mowing, weeding, and mulching. Performs other specific job-related duties as directed.
- Maintains hazard-free sidewalks and parking lots.
- Moves furniture, equipment, and classroom materials as assigned.
- Assists with summer cleaning projects and building preparation.
- Performs painting, touch-up work, and minor repairs as assigned.
- Assists with grounds upkeep including trash removal, landscaping assistance, and outdoor cleanup.
- Assists custodial and maintenance staff with district-wide summer projects.
- Supports building setup and preparation for the upcoming school year.
- Takes initiative to perform routine tasks independently.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Superintendent's designee.
