About the RoleAs a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, and more.
- Maintain a positive working relationship across all Amazon Operations facilities.
- Track and store department inventory.
- Move up to 49 lbs and stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Front Half Day Shift – 4 days on, 3 days off, typically Sunday to Wednesday, 10‑hour day (6 AM–4:30 PM).
- Back Half Day Shift – 4 days on, 3 days off, Wednesday to Saturday, 10‑hour day (7 AM–5:30 PM).
- Front Half Night Shift – 4 days on, 3 days off, usually Sunday to Wednesday, 10‑hour night (6 PM–4:30 AM).
- Back Half Night Shift – 4 days on, 3 days off, Wednesday to Saturday, 10‑hour night (7 PM–5:30 AM).

Basic Qualifications- High school or equivalent diploma.
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office product experience.
- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- 2+ years of conducting predictive and preventive maintenance procedures.
- 2+ years of repairing MHE, automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment.
- 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- 2+ years of demonstrating safety standards.
- 1+ year of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.
- 2+ years of electrical and electronic principles experience.
- Associate’s degree or higher in a mechanical or electrical field.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions of building operations.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Willingness to learn and grow within Amazon RME.

CompensationStarting hourly rate: $30.00 – $30.00 USD, inclusive of shift differential. Total compensation includes overtime pay and performance bonuses.
