Maintenance Technician

Location:

Ocala, FL – may be required to temporarily support other APG properties during emergencies or periods of operational need. Schedule is not limited to a standard 40‑hour workweek; work hours may extend beyond regular business hours based on operational demands. Must be available to respond to emergency maintenance requests outside of regular business hours, as needed.

• Responsible for timely completion (within 24 hours) of service requests as assigned by the supervisor.
• Participate in the maintenance on‑call rotation.
• Perform ongoing preventative maintenance.
• Execute make‑ready maintenance.
• Perform other duties and projects deemed necessary by management.

• Basic aptitude in apartment maintenance‑related areas.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Special training and/or experience may be required in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Good communication skills; ability to interact with residents, prospects, co‑workers, and vendors.
• Self‑motivated and able to complete assigned tasks with little or no supervision.
• Diplomatic in dealings with residents and ensures a consistent approach among maintenance staff.
