This position is responsible for providing general grounds and landscape maintenance for the residents of the On Top of the World Communities.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively operates all two-cycle equipment pertaining to the mow crew without damage to resident property and following all procedures
• Effectively operates mid-mount and front-mount mowers without damage to resident property while following proper turning change patterns without spinning wheels and at proper speed, leaving no ruts, and maintaining proper mowing height with a good result
• Maintains all equipment in proper working order, including daily preventative maintenance checks, cleaning and refueling
• Mows lawns and common areas
• Trims shrubs, trees, and bushes according to instructions
• Edges walks, paths, and driveways
• Identifies plant disease indicators
• Removes trash and debris
• May be required to drive dump trucks or other heavy equipment as needed

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous grounds and equipment experience preferred

Skills and Knowledge:

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
• Ability to read, understand and apply chemical label and restrictions

Schedule :

• Monday thru Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Occasional Saturdays required. Schedule subject to change.)
