Blue Ribbon Cleaning is currently hiring a Part-Time Evening Custodian to join our team in Ocala, FL.

Shift Available:

Days: Friday

Hours:

4:00pm - 7:00pm

The Part-Time Evening Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment in an office building by performing routine custodial duties in accordance with company standards and best practices.

• Clean, sanitize, and disinfect restrooms following color-coded cleaning procedures.
• Refill paper towel, toilet tissue, soap, and sanitizer dispensers.
• Dust and wipe furniture, counters, desks, ledges, and other surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot-clean floors and carpets.
• Empty, clean, and reline trash and recycling containers.
• Clean glass, mirrors, partition doors, window sills, and blinds.
• Clean and sanitize sinks, break rooms, and kitchen areas.
• Wipe walls and remove marks without damaging surfaces.
• Dust vents, air intakes, ceiling fans, and accessible ceilings.
• Wash accessible interior and exterior windows.
• Maintain a clean and organized janitorial closet.
• Follow all chemical usage and safety procedures.
• Report or order client supplies as needed.
• Perform other related custodial duties as assigned.

This position requires regular physical activity, including:

• Standing and walking for most of the shift.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, bending, reaching, squatting, and twisting.
• Lifting up to 40 lbs. (supplies and mop buckets).
• Occasionally lifting up to 75 lbs. (trash; most lifting is under 20 lbs.).
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a Federal Level 2 background check.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Blue Ribbon Cleaning is a drug-free workplace.
• Ability to perform custodial duties independently and safely.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment, including mops, vacuums, backpack vacuums, and other custodial tools.
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
