Housekeeper II

Pay: $17.49/hr – $18.65/hr + credit for experience (Full-Time)

Location: The Shores, a UMC Community, Ocean City, NJ

• Perform floor care and routine cleaning (dusting, disinfecting furniture, fixtures, equipment, hallways, and common areas) to maintain a clean environment.
• Empty and clean waste receptacles daily.
• Clean, restock, and maintain restroom supplies.
• Move and arrange furniture and assist with room setups for programs and activities.
• Assist in unloading delivery trucks as needed.
• Follow proper sanitation methods and safely use cleaning products to uphold cleanliness standards and prevent infection.
• Operate housekeeping equipment such as scrubbers, burnishers, extractors, and perform advanced floor care such as stripping and finishing floors.

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• 18 years of age or older (required).
• Prior experience in floor care including stripping and finishing floors (required).
• Prior experience in a long‑term care setting, janitorial role, or customer service role (preferred).
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
