Housekeeper II
$17.49 - $18.65 per hour, Full‑Time – The Shores, a UMC community – Ocean City, NJ
Responsibilities- Perform floor care and routine cleaning (dusting, disinfecting furniture, fixtures, equipment, hallways, and common areas) to maintain a clean environment.
- Empty and clean waste and soiled linen receptacles daily.
- Clean, restock, and maintain restroom supplies.
- Move and arrange furniture and assist with room setups for programs and activities.
- Assist in unloading delivery trucks as needed.
- Follow proper sanitation methods and safely use cleaning products to uphold cleanliness standards and prevent infection.
- Operate housekeeping equipment such as scrubbers, burnishers, extractors and perform advanced floor care such as stripping and finishing floors.
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- 18 years of age or older (required).
- Prior experience in a long‑term care setting, janitorial role, or customer service role preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
