Custodial Crew Member

Frontwave Arena is a state-of-the-art, 7,500-seat indoor venue located in Oceanside, California.

It is home to the San Diego Clippers of the NBA G League and the 16-time champion San Diego Sockers of the Major Arena Soccer League. In addition to hosting world-class concerts, sporting events, and community programming, Frontwave Arena also oversees the business operations for both the San Diego Clippers and San Diego Sockers, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for professionals passionate about sports and live entertainment.

• Venue Cleaning & Sanitation:
  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing tasks in assigned areas, including restrooms, concourses, seating areas, suites, and public spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors, walls, and other surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Restock supplies (e.g., soap, paper towels, toilet paper) in restrooms and other areas.
• Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning emergencies
• Event Support:
  • Maintain cleanliness during events to ensure a positive guest experience
• Address any cleaning-related requests or concerns from guests and staff.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown, as needed
• Safety & Compliance:
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Adhere to all health and sanitation guidelines.
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Teamwork & Customer Service:
  • Work collaboratively with other Crew Members to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests and staff by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial services is a plus.
• Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuum cleaner, floor scrubber) is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

This position requires working in various locations throughout Frontwave Arena, including indoor and outdoor areas. The work environment may be noisy and crowded, especially during events. The position involves frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
