** General Information/Job Summary
** Saulsbury Industries is seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Assistant to be responsible for providing assistance to the Real Estate and Facilities Manager in the maintenance and operation of all SI owned or leased properties.
** Responsibilities/Competencies
*** Perform routine maintenance on the buildings which includes changing light bulbs, small plumbing issues in bathrooms and kitchens, make minor repair to heating, cooling, plumbing building systems
* Notify facilities manager of any needed repairs
* Move furniture, business equipment when required
* Load, unload or stack containers, materials or product
* Control & monitor irrigation system & make small repairs
* Keep four kitchens clean & stocked with supplies
* Keep conference rooms cleaned & organized
* Monitor rest rooms for small problems & make sure they stay clean
* Pick up trash on the outside of our building almost daily
* Occasionally we shift some of the hours from the week to the weekend to do tasks that are better done in a near empty building
* Carry a phone 24/7
* Have basic computer skills
** Requirements**
* ** Valid Driver's License and meet the company’s fleet policy requirements
*** Experience in the repair of small electrical and plumbing projects in order to perform routine maintenance on the buildings
* ** MVR along with background and drug screen required
*** Physically able to do manual labor and climb
* Willing and able to follow instructions
* Well-groomed and personable
* Safety minded and willing to following the safety rules and policies of the company
* Personal and Professional Integrity
** Physical Requirements
*** Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
* Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
* Ability to walk the property and laydown yards.
* Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
