Are you hands-on, dependable, and looking for a solid job with room to grow? The City of Odessa is looking for a Building Maintenance Technician to help keep our public buildings clean, safe, and in good working condition.
Responsibilities- Perform general maintenance tasks like fixing small repairs, replacing parts, cleaning up graffiti, and helping with basic upkeep of city buildings and grounds.
- Assist with occasional custodial duties and learn to handle more advanced maintenance and repair tasks over time.
- Follow safety rules and report hazards or equipment problems to your supervisor.
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of general labor, maintenance, or construction experience
- Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and a cell phone for City use
- Must pass an FBI fingerprint background check and meet CJIS standards
- Safety shoes provided and required
