Shift: Evening starting at 4 p.m., Monday–Friday

Pay Rate: $11.75 per hour

Individual will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining buildings including offices, classrooms, restrooms, lounges and other areas, and also help with event set up and tear down when needed. Positions are available during 4–5 hour blocks starting at 4 p.m., depending on openings. A minimum of 20 hours per week is required. Required on‑call rotation during winter months for snow removal, usually called in between 5–6 a.m. This is a pooled position;

applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time, the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.

Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles etc.; using feet, legs and/or hands and arms. Agility is emphasized. Walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces. Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. Bending legs at the knee to rest on knees. Extending hands and arms in any direction. Standing for sustained periods.

Moving to accomplish tasks over long distances. Using upper extremities to press, thrust, haul or tug objects. Lifting objects up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, or 10 pounds constantly. Operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect or position equipment. Repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions.

Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Required to have adequate visual acuity to determine accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned (custodial, food services) or to make general observations of facilities or structures.

Worker is subject to environmental conditions including weather changes, extreme cold (temperatures typically below 32 °F), extreme heat (above 100 °F), noise, vibration, hazards such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, chemicals, fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, poor ventilation, cramped spaces, and narrow aisles or passageways.
