Janitors will be expected to perform a variety of functions, including but not limited to office, lunchroom and restroom cleaning and sanitizing, parking lot maintenance, restocking of toiletries, and trash collecting and disposal. Janitors shall demonstrate appropriate use of cleaning equipment, supplies and chemicals, and adherence to all organization safety rules and regulations.
PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities
- Maintaining regular and punctual attendance according to shift-times or a pre-arranged work schedule.
- Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Wear and maintain proper personal equipment (PPE).
- Cleaning and sanitizing of offices, restrooms and lunchrooms.
- Trash collecting and disposal.
- Window washing and cleaning.
- Vacuuming, mopping and dusting.
- Grounds keeping and parking lot maintenance.
- Restocking of supplies/toiletries.
- Operator may be exposed to chemicals/solvents and occasional fumes, unsanitary conditions, and moderate noise level.
- Must be detail oriented and quick learner.
- Organization skills.
- Knowledge and appropriate use of chemical cleaners and cleaning equipment.
- Good communicator with ability to represent the company in a positive manner.
- Ability to work alone or as a member of a team, good cooperative skills.
- Previous janitorial experience required.
- General Standard education including the ability to read and write in English.
- Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm.
