• Clean school building on a daily basis; prepare facility for school operations, maintain entrance ways, and perform all applicable custodial duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• One year related experience preferred.
• BCII/FBI clearance.
• CDL/bus driver certification preferred.
• Other qualifications may be considered by the Superintendent and/or Board of Education.

• Effective teamwork and communication.
• Active listening skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures.
• Ability to read and understand verbal/written instructions and labels.
• Training in proper care and storage of chemicals (e.g., OSHA/PERRAC).
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment use.
• Independent work ability.
• Clear oral and written communication.
• Organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Training in clean‑up and disposal of blood borne pathogens.
• Ability to learn proper use of cleaning materials.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of supplies up to 60 lbs.
• Painting skills preferred.
• Class B CDL with school bus endorsement preferred or obtainable.

• Complete required paperwork.
• Handle public interactions with tact and diplomacy.
• Maintain effective relationships with staff and building occupants.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Use cleaning materials appropriately on various surfaces.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
