What you will do...

* Work outside in some of the most beautiful parks in Ohio

* Interact daily with a variety of customers who utilize the park & watercraft facilities

* Perform custodial & housekeeping duties such as cleaning restrooms, offices, campgrounds, service centers, park buildings, & shower houses, cleaning fire rings & grills, removing trash, order supplies

* Remove snow & ice from walkways (shovel and spreading salt)

* Perform laundry tasks using industrial washers and dryers

* Starting hourly pay of $18.87/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 2.5 years of service, with an end salary of $20.17/hr.

* There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service. For more details, refer to the OCSEA pay range schedule & longevity rates OCSEA Employees | Department of Administrative Services.

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading & speaking common English vocabulary. In accordance with Section 124.11(B)(2), revised code, Director of Administrative Services has determined this classification to be unskilled labor class & therefore exempt from written examination.
