Location: Rossford

Candidates must have successfully completed the selection process for the maintenance technician and pass the skill assessment for their field.

Responsibility / Authority

Acceptance of a variety of task assignments in the maintenance area at both the Float and OE Fabrication facilities.
Acceptance of production assignments when necessary to meet business needs.
Identification, recording and communication of any problems relating to the product or process.
Abiding by all Federal, State, and Local requirements related to generating and disposing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste material.
Following all Plant/Companies rules, policies and procedures and contractual agreements.
Conforming to expected conduct in a business environment.
Following the Quality, Environmental and Safety policies.
Initiating, recommending or providing solutions to problems through designated channels.

Follows all safety requirements.

Procedure

The maintenance technician performs a wide variety of tasks related to the mechanical and electrical maintenance of the operation.

Duties

Perform mechanical or electrical maintenance as required to maintain the operation.

Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.

Work on projects as scheduled or required to maintain the operation.

Assist in training others.

Participate in all audits: STOP Audits, GO Audits, internal audit, cross facility, management and third party registration audits.

Adhere to 5S and housekeeping standards and be responsible for clean-up of work areas upon completion of tasks.

Ensure maintenance work meets required standards.

Participate in required training and successfully complete required assessments or testing to verify understanding and knowledge.

Work at a safe, efficient, effective, and reasonable pace.

Other duties as assigned.
