As a Maintenance Team Member at Hartville Hardware, you will help ensure our store and grounds are clean, safe, and ready for guests and team members before the doors open each morning. This is a steady, early‑morning part‑time role — Monday through Friday — built around a consistent routine where the results of your work are visible and meaningful every single day.

You will operate a ride‑on floor cleaning machine to maintain the large retail floor and parking lot, and assist with light maintenance tasks throughout the facility. No prior experience is required — we will train the right person. What matters most is that you show up reliably, take pride in your work, and enjoy a job where you can see exactly what you accomplished at the end of every shift.

• Operate a ride‑on floor cleaning machine to scrub and maintain the store's large retail floor.
• Use the same ride‑on machine to clean and maintain the parking lot and exterior hard surfaces.
• Ensure all areas are clean, dry, and safe before the store opens.

• Perform light maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned.
• Report any maintenance concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards promptly.
• Keep maintenance equipment and supplies organized and in good working order.
• Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment and handling cleaning products.

• Reliable and dependable — consistent early‑morning availability Monday through Friday.
• Comfortable operating ride‑on or motorized equipment (training provided).
• Able to work independently and stay focused without direct supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a genuine pride in doing the job right.
• Positive attitude and a solid work ethic.
