Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance
For our client, we are seeking a Director Manufacturing Maintenance to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross‑functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Aerospace & Defense environment.
Location:
Ashville, OH - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $220,000 – $290,000 annually
Responsibilities- Build and lead the central maintenance function and Center of Excellence
- Recruit and develop a diverse team of maintenance professionals
- Partner and provide oversight to site‑specific maintenance leaders
- Design systems for work order management and preventative maintenance
- Support new facility launches and lead automation initiatives
- Own documentation and calibration of tooling and equipment
- Drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes
- 10‑15 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing settings
- Experience building maintenance standards and systems from the ground up
- Hands‑on experience with OEMs and automated equipment in early‑stage manufacturing
- Background in automotive, aerospace, or heavy industry
- Skilled‑trades or engineering background with a hands‑on approach
- Proven ability to operate strategically and on the shop floor
- Strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration skills
