ResponsibilitiesThe Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing and directing all maintenance operations, from routine inspections to emergency repairs. Expertise is essential in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our infrastructure, ensuring a safe and well-functioning environment for all employees and stakeholders. This role demands a unique blend of technical knowledge, problem-solving acumen and leadership skills.

- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance of equipment and facilities.
- Oversee and manage maintenance staff, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped.
- Schedule and supervise preventative maintenance tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance services. Ex: IT, lawn care, janitorial, cranes, etc.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Manage maintenance budgets and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and enforce maintenance policies and procedures.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to minimize disruption during maintenance activities.
- Evaluate and recommend purchases of new equipment or upgrades to existing systems.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management or related field; preferred but not required.
- Experience with automated maintenance management systems.
- Strong computer skills, familiar with MS Office Suite.
- Proven track record of managing maintenance teams effectively.
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management in a maintenance context.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a maintenance role, ideally within a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
