Position: Manufacturing Operations Repair and Maintenance Supervisor I
Location: Byesville

Inside the Role

Lead and develop maintenance personnel to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of manufacturing equipment, utilities, facilities, and infrastructure. Responsible for equipment uptime, preventive and predictive maintenance execution, continuous improvement initiatives, maintenance planning, and workforce development.

What You Drive at DTNA
  • OSHA and DTNA safety compliance, environmental requirements, lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space, and contractor safety programs
  • Equipment reliability initiatives to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Capital planning and lifecycle replacement strategies
  • Repair versus replace decisions to optimize asset costs
  • Preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies
  • Corrective actions targeted at preventing downtime events and recurrent failures
  • Root cause failure analysis for major equipment failures
  • Accurate and efficient use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Management of work order backlog, PM compliance and asset history records
  • Performance evaluations and development planning
  • Planning of work schedules, assignments and personnel; maintaining employee performance records, training records, timecards, and vacation schedules
Knowledge You Should Bring
  • BS/BA and 2 years of relevant experience or 6+ years of relevant experience leading teams of people in a high-volume manufacturing or logistics setting in lieu of a degree
  • 2–4 years of leadership experience coaching and/or supervising employees to achieve high levels of performance and engagement
  • Experience in an operational environment (manufacturing, distribution, or transportation)
  • Knowledge and application of Lean/Continuous improvement tools and principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • An attached resume is required
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or Business Management
  • Experience with CNC machining equipment repair including servo drives, ball screws, and machine geometry
  • Hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems experience
  • PLC troubleshooting knowledge
  • Robotics and automation experience
  • Predictive maintenance technologies experience
